It's been a long time, huh? I have moved and had so much going on in my life that I pretty much forgot I had this blog, but now I'm back and I'm creating, so I want to share.
I recently got back my mojo for card-making. It has been a very long time but I'm having a blast. I'll keep the post short for today, but here are some cards I made over the weekend.
I REALLY love this stamp! It's big, it's beautiful, it's rubber cling and it stamps gorgeously! The name of the stamp is simply called "Peonies" and it is by Catherine Scanlon. You can search a few places to find it. It is currently out of stock in many places, but if you are patient, you will get it. :)
I made a few of these - this one was stamped and heat embossed in white. I watercolored it using watercolor paints and my newest obsession, Zig Watercolor markers. I am relatively new to watercolors. I love the look. I love the process, but I have so much to learn in terms of technique. I'm not good at blending. I recently purchases a journal with watercolor paper in it and I use that to try out stuff. Some are good, and some are not so good, but I am really enjoying myself.
Here is the same stamp, heat embossed in gold and colored in a more traditional way. I love this too. I did a search online and found that Peonies now come in just about every color imaginable...so it is perfectly acceptable to use your imagination when it comes to coloring these beauties.
I will end this post today. Please, if you happen to stop by, please comment. Let me know I'm not just talking to myself.
