Pretty peony card using colored pencils

Just popping in with a quick card I made using Wild Peonies from the Ton stamps.

This card was pretty simple.  I stamped a bunch of this peony image onto my smooth cardstock and then I used my colored pencils to add highlights. 

I fussy cut out the peonies and then stamped the leaves all around on the card panel.  I decided I needed to highlight my leaves as well, so I used colored pencils for that. I used foam tape to adhere and pop up my peonies to give this card some extra dimension.

I finished it off with a cute sentiment from Clearly Besotted stamps.

Jacquie, what an elegant card! The peonies look like I could smell them. Did you do any masking when doing the leaves or just stamp, stamp, stamp? Have a wonderful weekend! You rock.
